During May 2016, Spinal Injuries Ireland supported by Coloplast visited 10 towns and cities to engage with people with a spinal cord injury (SCI) and their families and friends, healthcare professionals, public representatives and the media to increase awareness of the needs of the SCI Community.
We are asking that everyone takes action and signs our online pledge to show your support for people living with a spinal cord injury and their families.
We will also be holding a parliamentary briefing in Leinster House on Wednesday 22nd June and yet again we have invited all TD’s and Senators to attend. If you would like information on how you can encourage your local representative to attend the briefing contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01 235 5317.
“It’s the hidden things that are just as difficult” – Philip, Dublin
“The support of SII means so much to me because I feel like they really care about my needs. They are always there to provide assistance, support and guidance through home visits or the regional meetings. It felt good to link in with someone like SII after my injury” – Shane, Wexford
